Diamond Valley is the town created on 1 January 2023 when Turner Valley and Black Diamond amalgamated, about 65 km southwest of Calgary on Highway 22 — the Cowboy Trail. The two former townsites still read differently on the ground, with older lots down along the Sheep River and newer development on the benches above.
